Well here it is, very nice fit in the new tiger. Sound is great, recoil is great. She looks just like the real one when she moves across the work bench. As you can see I put the two units on top of each other to make more room.

I'm very interested in seeing this SLU in action. Please post a video soon and let us know how you are making out with it. What is the cost for the full option unit? Any draw-backs so far?

The cost was about $240.00 US thats with shipping. I love this thing. Ive got the E-Mod and I like this one better. The only draw back I've had is I cant get the Asintam recoil to work, It will fire good the first time and the next time it only recoils half way. the Tamyia recoil works every time. I think it must be the voltage to drive the Asintam, it takes more juice to run that one. If you follow the manual far ashook up and setting up your tx your in good shape.

I want to put another Tamiya IR compatable Stug III together for a customer. I was going to build it FO Tamiya but I may try the SLU. I will not be much cheaper but I want to explore all the options and latest technology.

Is there any video out there of the SLU vs. a Tamiya FO tank Yet???

I'm not sure, but if you go to fireman tims site I think its www.sluweebly .com or PM him to get the site there is a vido of the SLU in action. I'm going to try and do a vidio tomarrow, I,ve never posted a vidio before but I'll try. You wont beleave the sound.

Tim was supposed to come to Danville but had to cancel out. I was really looking forward to getting the DBU, Elmod & SLU all together for a head to head battle with the Tamiya IR tanks on the same battlefield.[&o]

Tim has a very good product here and I think the guys are going to like it alot, now if YHR gets his unit out there maybe we can get more people in the hobby.
