Default Getting Futaba 4WD to Function W/Tamiya Leopard 2A6

So I finally got my Leopard 2A6 to the point of completion, I've test run it and swapped around the channels on the receiver so I have right stick with forward/turning and left stick with turret rotation/gun elevation. However knowing this Futaba 4WD isn't the suggested radio, and that is has the digital trim, how the heck do I get the main gun, coaxial machine gun and lights to work and anything else I'm missing.

I've done some searches, but maybe I'm not entering enough keywords to pull up a proper discussion, help is appreciated.

Thanks,

I am not positive this will work with the Leopard, but try it out. When you do the programming, do not move the sticks to full travel on the turret control side. Only move them about half travel and see if you then are able to get the main gun and MG to work. It works for the Pershing.

fjcaron:

Are you sure your radio is the 4WD? I got a 4WD AM on 27 band with my Leo 2A6, it has sliders like the 4YF, 4YG and 6YF radios I have.

I can post a pic if you like... and i tested mine, and I got all the functions to run just fine.

PS: Anyone wanting my 4WD, lemme know. I'm partial to FM units, so this one will probably go ouyt the door soon as I find a taker.
