t's not a game, it's a battle, we are not children, what's the fun without real spec and tactics
Then you should really look elsewhere, not at the Tamiya battle system.

Neither real specs nor tactics in tank dynamics, damage simulation, visibility, gun range, armor reaction, tank crew interaction, firing and hitting while moving, 45° defence, etc., when PLAYING with a TBU-equippeed rc tank.

An adult with a toy in his hands is still playing. A boy with a real gun in his hands is probably not playing anymore.

But we have fun with our toys, and it is not a problem. But don't call that 'simulation'.

that ok i understand your point of vieuw too, that whywe haveheavy ones shielded the TBU on the front, no tank in that time could punch thru the frontal armor of a KT and a JT that's a fact too so it should be considered into scale tankbattle too, that's honest too ...

otherwise it is just playing around

that's the way it is ... you want scale battle so let's approve it as close as it gets ... you all want scale speed ... so i want scale armor too ... as i say that's the way it should be, who could argume that???

i found that armor has to count in this battle, the gun range would be suidicical if you take into considering a kt and a jt could hit a tank on 2500 to 4000 meter deadly then everyone may take their tanks to home again, that doesn't have to be

no gunrange at rcbattles but take armor into consideration please, its only honest to the theme = tanks

I think that -if ever- it will be next-generation of rc tank electronics to keep into account everything we are talking about: every IR tank emitting a digital code which includes its own gun caliber and shell penetration, and receiving tank calculating damage according to its own (set) armor and spreading damage over different tank equipments.

That would be an interesting leap forward in our hobby, which in my opinion has been stuck too much with the current standards.

If you are going for true scale battle conditions shouldn't there only 1 or 2 KTs be allowed to be used on the battlefield, since only less than 500 were made and most of the ealier productions were unreliabile, so there would not of been many on the frontline in the beginning. So few people would not be able to compete if you go with true scale, what fun would that be.

Also it was possible for the British 17 pounder using armour-piercing shots capable of penetrating the front of the KT's turret from a least 1000 yds and don't foget the Pershing's 90mm cold penetrate from 1300 meters. So the KT was not completely invincible from the front.
