To be honest, the plastic one I had her3e was not the same. It was off a lot worse than this one....In any case, it may not be too hard to do, but at this point, it is too late for me to try it...

Moving ahead, I got the whitewash done and some weathering to try to match the effects of the lower parts of the tank. Everything works well, except for turret rotation, which I figured would be a problem. I need to do a little tuning to the gear and all should work right. I was going to video it, but I want to wait til all functions operate correctly. Here are some pictures for now.

Awsome job Joe!
You did a great job matching the turret to the rest of the tank.
Looking forward to seeing this beast in action.

Very nicely done!  I've always liked the look of the T-34 (and hope that some day Tamiya will do this tank), but this build is making me consider the KVs now

I wish I had known you were building up a KV2.  I just converted a KV2 into a KV1 and have a spare KV2 turret and main gun.   Looks very nice.  Good job.

OK, so here is a little teaser video for you during my trest and tune session. I think I have the traverse problems fixed. I also installed the battle system and tested it tonight. All is well.

Joe, I can see you have your thinking cap on and in high gear when I look at the work you can do.Lots of patience and thinking ahead on this project have
really paid off, notwithstanding your ingenuity and willingness to try something of your own design. These kind of endevours may lead to a patent one day.
