The DBCRC2 eliminates the The HL Receiver and transmitter. It works with any standard Hobby RC unit. IF you want to keep the Heng long stuff then you need the standard DBC.

Morning All,

I too have a DBCR2 that I want to install in a Stug 3. I have the Spectrum 5 radio. It was removed form another tank and I am having trouble wiring it up to my RX-18. Phil has sent me instructions but senile moment here still having trouble. Anyboody that can illustrate the wiring would be appreciated.
