I filed a complaint with PayPal yesterday. You have 45 days from payment to file a complaint - yesterday was day 43. Received a nice apologetic email from Stepan at Profiline this morning with a tracking number. PayPal now a 20 day clock running to close this out, but it looks like it should work out.

Hated to do it, but it had been over 6 weeks without communications of any kind. Probably should have contacted him directly sooner With only two days left, I didn't want to get into a game of email tag.

Good goin' and great news! I'd hate to know this fell through like others before did.

A verification email would have been the correct thing to do on their behalf.

Looks like all will end well...

This was only on the second page about the Profiline Sherman: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10852962/tm.htm

Happy to report the package arrived today via registered mail - so it took about a week once mailed. The package was in good shape, the parts look very clean. A quick once over and I did not see any air bubbles. EDIT - the 'Chip' is suppose to be there per the assembly instructions One small chip at the base of the turret, but it will not be a big deal. Included a CD with all the product pictures you seen posted previously, plus assembly instructions (illustrations). The only thing I can think of adding right now is some guidance on where to cut the existing tank hull. I'll just cut a little less than I think is needed and I can always sand my way to perfect EDIT - they say cut at 50% of the turret ring diameter, so they did cover it.

Time for me to tell PayPal this has been successfully resolved.

Follow-up: Did anyone else get the wire parts - mine did not include any. They appear to call out existing parts clearly in the instructions, and the wire parts are just labeled "Handle Wire". If not included I can just start bending some paperclips.

Glad to see that you after a lengthy wait have received your kit, it’s just a shame that you had to remind him

Fantastic that it arrived and all in one piece. Can't wait to see you get her done. I really like the early M34 mantlet ... so I need to get me one of these too.

So you use paper clips, huh? I like the brass rod myself. Have an assortment of the stuff too.

Sorry to hear you guys had to nag Profiline for a result - I hope that was only down to them being swamped and nothing more sinister [][][]

Just got back from the post office with my Proline Sherman.

THis is the best casting work I have ever seen. As long as I don't screw it up this should make a very nice Sherman.

I was just patient, and never had to nag to get mine. It did take a while longer then I would have liked, but it was well worth the wait.

The only reason I nagged is I was at Day 43 of PayPals 45 day window to complain. Seven weeks after taking someones money and NO notice is a bit long. (That and having previously been burned by waiting too long with PayPal.)

The end result was worth it - the castings do look as good as the previously posted picts - and I would buy from Profiline again - I would just send them a friendly email reminder closer to the 21 day mark

YHR - did yours come with the wire bits?

Thanks
