Sherman Reference Book
#5
I have never seen one myself, but I know when it was out of print a while back, it was probably the most sought after armor ref book around fetching ridiculous money. It was reprinted a few years ago and I believe sold out again.
My refs lean towards German and I have a few rarities in my collection, but I would probably jump on a copy of that one.
That said, I have a few out of print Fedorowicz books that have been re-released by Stackpole. It sucks to see a rare hardcover that would sell for $300 sitting as a paperback in B&N for $15. Well, it sucks if you have the HD, it's great if you don't. Maybe the Hunnicutt book will show up as paperback some day soon.
Seriously though, that's the go to Sherman book. Anybody I've ever heard speak with credibility on Allied armor always references that one.
