I heard that once again....they discontinued it. I was brave enough to get one. I figured I get one with all these post WWII tanks coming out...its time to kick things up a bit. IMHO I think the only reason why this hobby hasn't appeal to the masses is because a) the lack of modern tanks and combat vehicles, they only cater to the ww2 era. B) the few modern tanks are either too expensive (tamiya Leo's) or too cheap (hobby engine M1A1/2). With heng long and hooben stepping up to the plate....and clark models new board. Bam!!! I got my Leo A4 in route, as soon as ETO sends me an invoice for the Hooben T-55 I'll be golden. ZTZ-99a will be next!
Good times my fellow tankers!

Yeah... selling it as only a static kit will take it just so far.
Only the die-hard RCR's will do anything with it.
Big mistake not to make it and the Gepard, RC.

You can always contact Daryl Turner. He's converted a couple lower hulls and turrets to full option for people.

Well, a HL set up would probably be the best bet.
Just get the appropriate sized styrene posts and use them to attach the turret rotation unit.
The elevation I would just use a servo.
This is what I am planning on doing with mine... whenever I get back to it that is.
