Default Got a new tank!

Finally got a Tamiya tank! I have 3 HL tanks and finally got this beauty. Bought it used cause it was a great deal and it seems to work perfectly. Here are some pics of it and one pic with all my tanks. I plan on making a trip to Danville sometime this year. My good friend Mike(SGTMAJMVJ) from here in Georgia has been a big help since I'm still pretty new to the hobby. I look forward to seeing some of you all on the battlefield soon!

So your the one who got it. Does it have a steel hull plate inside? I saw the hex heads and asked but the previous owner didn't know what I meant.

You'll love it.

Thanks everybody!  Rustytrax i'm not for sure on the steel hull yet but i'll look into it.  Sollie I love KT's and that what I really had my heart set on but this was a deal so I jumped on it.  I like my HL tanks but there defiantly is a big difference in quality between the HL and Tamiya's from what I can tell.  I LOVE the sound difference for sure.

You will love the Tiger I. It is the best starter tank for IR tank battles. Tough, durable, very forgiving, hard to flip, easy to control and as simple as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to repair. EVERYBODY at Danville has owned one. I have 3. They are easy to customize and are real killers. Good luck and I look forward to battling with you at Danville. I hope you can come in May.

Rest assured. If it's a Tamiya Tiger I it has the aluminum insert as the bottom of the hull.

dlobmwm3 I acutally bought this one used off Ebay.  A great place to buy one new though is here http://www.aaftankmuseum.com/.  If your wanting to buy one used though you will have to check ebay daily cause theres not many used Tamiya tank that turn up for sale in my experience.  I checked ebay daily for a few months before I found this deal.  Got my Tiger completely assembled, painted, two battery, and controler for $589 shipped
