1/16th Abrams love?
Hooben was supposed to release one (Hasn't happened! And I am not holding my breath)
Heng Long was rumored to be working on one (Believe it when I see it!)
Big Soft Air Toys even announced one was in the works, and Taigen would have a release in September. (Still hasn't hapened).
I am one sad panda. /cry

A lot of people have converted the Hobby engine offering to full battle r/c.

the rumour of a Heng Long M1A1 is just that, A rumour. HL's next tank out of the blocks should be the Challenger.
Hooben's I can't say but their target was Fall of this year, I'll give it until Christmas just because stuff happens ( plus they have done a lot of ship stuff this year )
Taigen well Erik is on this forum so lets get him to throw his plan around here.
Best seller I think would be a low cost Cromwell or Comet though. Just my 2 cents

I would love to see a challenger. The Abrams however is most likely far in the future for any manufacturer. the main issue is the turbine engine sound. a completely new sound set would need to be made among other issues like turret slew speeds and such. All doable but more work than just rehashing something all ready available. The HE Abrams actually makes a decent RC once the work is put into it. I at one time had a complete parts line up in kit form to convert to better tracks and road wheel modification.

[h=2]First Taigen Tanks order and New Tanks for 2013 at BBT![/h][INDENT]Big Boys Toys is happy to say that our first order is on the way and we are almost sold out! We are also getting our first batch of spare parts for repairs and warranty work. I asked what was coming for next year, when I was told I had to ask him to repeat it.
USM4A3Sherman
US M1A2 Abrams Heavy Confirmed Sept.
I asked if he was sure, I was told that it was on the order form for next year. I did ask for him to confirm this with the higher up's. I should hear something in a few days,

No so much the AGT1500 start and run sequence has been in numerous movies in recent years. War of the worlds and Battleship are just some I can think of right now.

I think if Taigen is going to do an M1A2 it will most likely be more accurate than the Hobby Engine tank. theirs was wrong due to the hull shape for their tracks and gear boxes. Other than that it wasn't too far off and mine looks pretty good with Tamiya LEO tracks and reversed sprockets.
As far as something very special coming out i would think that if it weren't a Cromwell, Challenger or other British tank a lot of people would like to see some modern armor come out, like the Challey or M1 or T-72 or Merc.

I really, really hope so. My first tank was a cable controlled 1/35th scale Tamiya M1 with the 105mm gun "Yukon Jack".
Its annoying that there are so few mainstream combat-blooded modern tanks available on the market. I can only think of the Hooben T-55A. All the rest, like Leopard 1A4/2A6, ZTZ-99, have not seen conflict yet. I would love for either or both a M1A1/2 and a Challenger 2!

Yes we are listening. I get a lot of requests and I do pass them on. Sometimes I just have to keep quiet or I might spill the beans on things. I have a huge list on my wall of stuff planned, but I have to wait until they are almost final before I say anything. Sometimes shipping gets us a bit behind but I do my best to keep you guys updated. New tanks are coming, but I cant give hints yet. Maybe right after Xmas I can start hinting. It is special, and something that is well overdue.

I will believe it when I see it. Seems that what is special to the manufacturer has been done thrice over by custom builders. I have seen it over and over. Someone builds a tank from scratch that everyone wants , then more and more build it then a manufacturer decides to just put that out because they believe thats what everyone wants. I'm not convinced. What is special is truly what the majority have been asking for. Not one persons idea of what is wanted.
