Thanks. You are off to a great start with your first post being an informative one.

Where are these available, and how much are they?

Very nice tracks but the fixed cost of shipping is nearly 200% of the track value. I hope that the real costs are lower? What is the real cost of shiping to Poland?

fixed price of shipping to Poland or USA - 2,480.34 HK$

Is it possible to order tracks without DKLM markings on their surface?

Good catch, I didn't realise they put DK on them...that would instantly stop me from buying any

Edit: Thinking some more about this, it seems crazy to me they would put such markings on each link...it's a massive error in judgement in my opinion.

I wasn't thrilled about Mato marking their tracks either; I seem to recall their KV-1 track links have "Mato" on every link. It rather ruins the
'scale-ness' of an otherwise good looking track. IMHO

How does this differ from metal KV-1 tracks, I've seen a Tamiya JS-2 running it with no apparent issues?

The KV track is wider than the JS-2 track. Noticeably so. Already discussed some time ago here (at post #22).

My KV metal tracks from rctank.de have no any markings on track links.

Hi guys, Yes, this is the track I invest with my friend. I'm also a rc tank player for 3 years,
Sadly that we never think that the DKLM logo will make such a bad feeling for hobbyist.
We will consider to modify or remove it by next production, for existing product, What we think that if you run the run on field, mud will fill that logo after few run.
but it would be good to heard the opinions for you guys!

As I'm new to here, I will post some of my tanks here later!

Though Impact are not going to make their IS-2 tracks, I will wait till they change their mind. Or Kenny Kong will produce them.

Hi, There is error on the fixed shipping, to Poland or Us should be around USD3X by air mail. for speed delivery 2-5 days, it will need 10-20 dollar extra.

I got bad experiences with impact quality before, so I won't got for them.

I am happy to see there is new provider, so we can have more choice and better price.

I will say.. those tracks look HIGH quality. And the name stamp would not deter me from purchasing. If it bothered me that much, i would just fill them in and paint.

Actually I checked with IMPACT and they reply will not make any parts for JS2 .... Also noted Kenny will not make this track,
so, I decided to make it.

First pics make it look like they are double pinned? One pin on each side for every link?

Yes, and those pins do not look authentic at all.

Askalaw, so $145.00 for the tracks,as of today's currency conversion from HKD (Hong Kong Dollars) to U.S. Dollars, and another $10 - $20 U.S. Dollars shipped to the United States?

I have the Mato KV1 metal tracks and they are the same width as the tamiya IS2 plastic.

Tamiya IS-2 is the same as the tamiya KV, they're not IS-2 tracks.

I bought the Tamiya KV track but cannot use in JS-2 as the sprocket cannot fit into the track slot. so I return it to the hobby shop.

I have no experience with Mato, or Heng Long tracks. The OP is talking about Tamiya products.

I own all of the Tamiya Soviet tanks. I just compared the KV1, KV2 and JS2. I measured them too. Tamiya KV tracks (KV-1 and KV-2) are 1 3/4" wide, and Tamiya JS-2 tracks are 1 5/8" wide. All measured tracks are Tamiya stock tracks. The pic I posted a link to in my previous post shows the difference clearly.

Interesting, thought they'd be all the same.

It's good to see new parts available for the JS-2, the quality seems very good. Nevertheless, I agree with the others about the markings, it is not the best idea you had...

about the KV tracks, they fit perfectly on the Tam JS-2. This way, you can reproduce the JS with heavy tracks (type B), that differed from the light ones with the fact they had a horn on each links. Most of the polish JS had these tracks. I used the Taigen ones on mine.
