Default newbie needs advice!

Hey all. I've just recently got into this hobby. I have a couple Taigen brand tanks and am looking to upgrade them. I have an m41 bulldog, and m26 Pershing. I would like to upgrade with metal road wheels and suspension on both. Also wanted to go with the. 4:1 steel gear set. My dilemma is that I can only find those upgrades from a website over seas and the upgrades are actually for heng long tanks. From what I've read on forums here before, is that Taigen is basically a reboxed HL anyway. So will it work? Will it not? If not, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Dont use geared down gear boxes on the Pershing they have a gear reduction built in with the rear sprocket size and the out drive assembly. Yes all HL parts will fit on Taigen tanks.

Thanks Panther! I will keep that in mind when placing my order. Was very glad to find this forum, and look forward to getting more help in my future projects. Like I said, I'm a newbie, but I got a handful of tanks already. All were rtr's from Taigen, but im very excited about HL coming out with the m1 and challenger later this year. Im going to make those my first major overhaul projects. But thanks again for your input. Now I can get started with my first minor upgrades.
