Hey Reaper

I've found these sites useful in other builds. Used 2 of the winches from rc4wd.com on my '42 Kenworth wrecker for all the boom operations, and rctank.de has detaill items such as tools and welding tanks. Carson has some more aggressive tires than the stock tamiya, not exactly military but better
than street tires. If your planning on doing any real pulling with some weight on the trailer you may want to look into a gear reduction as well.
As you know the tamiya truck are geared pretty high to simulate onroad speeds and they don't have much low end power even in low gear.

Thanks Airbrushler that stuff will be great.... and thanks TheBennyB for the links they will come in handy and yeah offroad tyres are in the plans along with a gear reduction for more pulling power.....

Well everyone here's the next update in the build of the DW...
The truck Multi Function unit is back inside and it up and running again.. also added some bits and pieces to the outside so its slowly getting there.....lol

Cheers Ken

This is quite a project. Those Tamiya trucks look like a fine piece of engineering.

Great work guys.....You make me feel guilty with my modest Bruder conversion. Fine work please inspire us with more pix. Is the premade trailer the Impact unit?

Flame that is absolutely a brilliant build... thanks for sharing.

Hi thecommander the trailer came to me pre made and is from the same company I brought the truck cab from.. can't recommend Roland from Modellspiegel enough he is very helpful and a great guy to deal with.

Ok I painted the float and weathered it today, the last 3 pics are of the top deck as I redid it due to not being happy with it.

Cheers Ken

I see you have Tiger 008 to ride on it, but you really need Tiger 332....
