Hey
I just got my 15th tank a KV-1. I need some help, how do I separate the upper and lower hull. Have the front screws out but what's in the rear? I got the metal hafts for it hatches for it, know where the 2 go but what about the other 2?

I took the tracks and the rear drive off and it was the screws you mentioned. A big tank you. The top screw is for the upper hull and the screw at the back is for the rear plate
All the mounts an cross braces will be cut out for a flat deck with metal sides. A steel plate will replace the battery door for weight.

Hello Johnny , I have several KV's , all converted to some degree
. Be careful of adding too much Weight - the HL KV suspension is OK for an all plastic set up but if you add metal - gearboxes , tracks etc. the rear end gets very heavy and the springs may not cope ( My best KV has a metal hull + black steel 4 to one gearboxes , absolutely bombproof ! )
