I'm pretty sure it isn't me but I'll ask: is RCU running slowly, slow to load, slow to navigate for everyone?

Honestly, I had some problem connecting this morning, but the pages are refreshing without too much fuss now.

P.S. My last post was supposed to have the words scattered all over, but it lined everything up when I posted it. So much for being a smart-aleck.

Oh yeah. And it'll usually only let me read one or two threads, then done 'til next time.

I also get a 'leave page' warning if I post a response that doesn't take.

But it's free, has less advertising than most and I imagine a pretty high volume (not us of course).

Today at this time it's loading fast other days its slow some times I have to keep hitting re fresh many times to load my saved user name and password .

Out of all the sites I go too this is the slowest and the odd time it just won't load.

It happens a lot to me in the mornings. After about 10am EST it smooths out and I don't have many issues after that.

It is slow to load and sometimes I find myself " Log Out " without logical explanation...
But on the other hand, it's easier to insert pictures and video when replying or posting a thread; and replies don't get lost in space like it used to...
So they have improved ...

The problems of this site being slow to load, or failing to load have made me go away. I gave up and lost interest. So, I hardly log into RCU anymore. I also gave up complaining about it.

The site not always slow but most of the time it's. A lot database error too. Also the auto-refresh no longer work for me.

It times out for me about 60% of the time I try to load!

Could be the amount of advertising graphics slowing down the upload?

It's been timing out for me for about a week, I have to try 2 or 3 times to get it to load, Called my server co. and the sent me an E-mail That tell me it is not them , and early to day RCU would not load and I got an error msg. #500

Same here, but considering the amount of people logged on and the TONS of info here I'm not surprised at all. Maybe time for a new server RCU

A lot of times it won't load and to get the photo's ot enlarge in a thread is Commodore64 like.

I just tried to use thread tools and show images and had a couple pics popped up then errored out. :-(

"Reply With Quote" function doesn't work on my iPad and a lot of images time out. I have to write my own tags for quoting.

At times it is as slow as a turtle and at other times it's back to normal for me. I have a pretty fast connection and computer.

I have experienced more slow loading this past week. Sometimes after reading a few forums it will try to load a page and never complete, so after several minutes waiting I give up. I hope they get it fixed, I do like this site.

We go thru this every so often with RCU. And there is always someone taking up for them about how they got so much of this, that or another going on.But you know what ? They aren't the only people with a large group of people following them and the others don't seem to have the same problem popping up from time to time. Not trying to be a smart you know what, but that's just the way I see it.
