Thanks again!!
For the P3 you are pretty much looking at a M/L no matter what. I did manage to fit a H/L in a PIV before, but it was cutting it very close. The P3 I could only fit M/L in. Since they are 48mm shafts we will have plenty in stock. I actually have steel M/L now but they are the ones without the bearings. I use them currently in my Stug 3 and Panzer 3 metal version.

M/L 3:1 (3 shaft) 48mm and 58mm versions
L/L 5:1 (3 shaft, but 5 reductions) 48mm and 58mm (delayed a bit longer, I had to make all new molds for these. Do not buy the current steel ones from other vendors as they will not perform well at all. The bearings were not installed and the bushings left in by mistake and the EU vendors bought them to sell. With heavier gears and the same motor performance will not be optimal.)

These will be the new all bearing version steel gearboxes coming soon. Bearings will be available on every reduction gear and the final drive shaft as well. NO SHIMMING will be needed on these gearboxes, there is no lateral play in them. The new numbers will be something like TAG14000/14005/14010 etc. I haven't added them to the system yet so I dont have the exact numbers, but they will come in very nice new boxes.
Will these be only available directly from you or from the dealer as well?

I have the steel 3 shaft steel gears with bearings from Hobby Raw and they are great. Smoothest gear boxes I have ever operated. The tank will coast down hill with them, so I am not sure why you are telling people to stay away from them?

I read that to mean to avoid getting the flat steel gearboxes that are the L/L 5:1 sets...same ones as the old Asiatam brass gearboxes but with steel gears (http://www.asiatam.com/product_info....er-stug-i.html). Not sure that he meant the 3-shaft boxes like the ones that you have.

Not the 3:1, the 5:1 aka the dual ratio gearboxes. The gear material was changed from brass to steel which increased both weight and rotating mass. To account for this I was changing out the motors and making sure the gearing was strong enough. During all this I was not that concerned of the bushings as that was going to be changed last. There was a miscommunication with the factory and they produced these before I was done with them. So these gearboxes (dual ratio only) will need new motors to counter the extra mass added to the gearboxes. It also lacks the bearings as the molds all had to be redone again. So this refers to the dual ratio gearbox only. The others are ok. IF you choose to get one early, be prepared to change the motors as the current gearing is weak in the 3:1 and there are no bearings which was the big reason for the revamp. Thats all The other gearboxes are all fine and were simple to fix. Sourcing a low RPM high torque 360 motor was a bit more difficult than I expected.
