I have the Clark board, and rx installed on the Tiger, but, nothing works. The battery is charged, the rx is getting power, as is the speaker, there was a quick blinking of the head light, now nothing. I'm using the smoker switch as a temporary jumper, until I can get a plug. Just trying to get power to the entire tank, but, so far, no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Have you fitted a jumper in the socket next to the battery socket.its just inboard of the battery socket ,if you don't have a jumper in the board does not have power.

I don't have a jumper plug, but an temporarily using the smoker switch in it's place until I can get a plug. I didn't have any power at all, until I plugged in the smoker, and turned it on. The rx is bound to the tx, but, nothing else works. It's a Taigen tiger, used Erik's video as an initial guide, and a diagram of connections, all is hooked up right, unless I have the rx wires in the rx backwards...which I'll have to wait until tomorrow after work to check.

Hi That could be the problem the smoker could be drawing all the power needed to run the board ( if the smoker has blown it wont let power to board). Use a 2 pin connector join the wires together and solder the wires put some tape over the joint. then try it .

I double checked my rx wires, and had one backwards, hooked up the battery, and it's all good, working perfectly, the sound is great, and better drive control so far. Pete, I'm going to try that method for making a jumper, I need to see what I have in my spare parts. Thanks for the help, and suggestion.

Got almost everything squared away, but the recoil. Does the Taigen IR recoil system need modification to work with the Clark board, the elevation works, it's slower, more realistic than stock, but, the recoil unit somewhat worked once, it retracted, then It hung up before returning. One thing I did notice, the track recoil is reduced with the new board.

"Asiatam unit recoil installation" With the Sony remote you can change the track recoil strength also.

Thanks, I checked out the Asiatam set up, and will try to get the time to do the modification this weekend. I'm also waiting for RC tanks of OKC to get the servo kits back in.

I also have the Clark Barrel/Elevation kit in my Tiger, Im still trying to perfect it. Do you have a Remote for the Clark boards?
If you dont, make sure you get one, you will need it.
