Default Metal tracked Jagdpanther problem

I purchased a Jagdpanther with metal tracks, sprockets, idlers, road wheels and hull. The metal tracks wrap up between the drive sprocket and first road wheel. Anyone have or had this problem, how did you fix it? It's the Asiatam lower hull.

Common thing even for 1:1 tanks. You can just run it and let the sprockets wear in, or carefully take a file to increase the angle of the teeth to help lessen the effect.

Also check the tension. If it is the Asiatam hull you should be able to adjust the tension to help with this as well. You may need to tighten the track tension.

By increasing the angle, do you mean sharpen the teeth?

I'll try the tension adjustment. Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes, sharpen the teeth just a little bit. Let us know how it all works out for you.

I will. I owe Max-U52 a review video. I hope to do the video in the next couple of days and will post it here. Thanks for the help.

You may also want to remove the tracks and clear every engagement slot of any mold slag or cast seems. While at it work the track ensuring it doesn't bind or kink. Graphite powder can really do a lot to help this.

Why do you guys fix the bundling? It has no ill effects on operation. For realism?

Just wondering is all.

Hey Joe, PM sent. I'll do a video later, with both my JP and Panther G, and that will give you some ideas. On the G I didn't even try to get rid of the effect, since, as Lostx said, it doesn't affect the way it drives. My G actually drives better with a looser track. And no thrown tracks so far (knock on wood).

It only does it on one track, looks dumb.

Oh. Hahaha. That's a good enough reason as any I guess. Mine also came with metal parts and does it on both. Better than having them not key correctly, don't you think? Lol

Well in my opinion, it's not right and needs to be corrected. None of my other metal tracked tanks do it. I will try some of the other suggestions people have offered. First one will be an idler adjustment. If that doesn't do it I'll keep working on it. It may just be a link that is not flexing as it should.
