Default Tamiya leo 2 refresh'd.

Long before the tank bug had got a hold, I had one back in 06. But someone came along and offered good Money for it ,so I sold it. let's just say I have regret it many many times....

550$ later and and once again I have one. Some might say a steep price, but it came rtr With radio, and extra 2 way button for MG/Cannon. Nothing Hefty about the price being Norway

Now prew owner had just built , and shelfed it , maybe just took it for a spin inside.

Camo looked good, but I was not super happy With the 'lines' his AB had left , so I've just started to fresh up the Paint, before further weathering

Topdeck getting a slight filter layer

Wheels and lower hull ready for a layer of Paint

pre dusting my Wheels , using milk like mix of AK dust+water.
then I just used air from AB to blow the Paint around the Wheel making iregular shape's. and at the same time rapid drying it

Set that aside for a while, and install the Henntech track tension system

I like your Leo 2 restoration and that Type 10, moves and looks good sans camo. Thanks for sharing. John

That idler adjustment seems like a must have for that tank. At our San Diego battle this past sunday, a leo 2 kept throwing tracks on the soft dirt. He had to stay to the east side of the battlefield where it was much harder packed. Luckily though, the field is so big there is tons of room to manuver.
