So I haven't turned on the airsoft function for a while, and I did so today since I felt like shooting stuff. When I flipped the airsoft switch on top of the turret, the tank keeps firing even without input! It only stops when I turn off the airsoft switch. Total shutdown didn't help. Even with the engine off, the gun keeps firing if the switch is flipped. Battery is fully charged. Any ideas?

My Feedback: (1)
I'd check all my wiring to make sure nothing's crossed or rubbed bare and if there's nothing wrong I would suspect the MFU. Is it the 2.4? Do you have any other tanks you can test with? Maybe put a different MFU in the Leo or move that MFU to a different tank and see if it still acts the same way.

I would check the limit switch on the airsoft gun. These are a flmsy affair. If the switch is staying in contact then there is nothing to turn the airsoft off. Open the tank. Look up in the turret to the airsoft gun. You should be able to see this switch. You will need to pry apart the contacts ever so slightly..
Everything else works, except the gun keeps cycling?
Cheers.

You have to pull the upper hull off and then you can see the contacts Dan is referring to. They're at the back of the housing extending up into the square opening. Here's a pic of mine since I have it apart at the moment.

Just checked it out. My limit switch seems to be fine, looks exactly like yours. For good measure I tested the tank with the 2-pin connector from that switch unplugged. Same results - turning on the airsoft function from the turret results in continuous firing, just withou sound and track recoil.

Oh wow man you don't have to do that! Maybe I could fix it up on my own, if it's possible? It's a HL Leopard 2, the 2.4ghz version. My only tank for now, but hopefully it's the first of many!
