So I'm messing with adding sound cards to my M1A2, specifically the same ones Dan at Battle Armor used in his tutorial. I thought this would be a fun project to try out myself so I ordered 4 of the cards. Tonight I got their software working and loaded a few M1 sounds I edited. They work as they should, so now I'm searching for a speaker that will give some decent sound and not break the bank. I'll probably wire it all up with the stock HL speaker to get it working and add a better speaker after that using the stock amplifier. Thanks in advance!

Those visaton FRS7 are unbelievably loud for their small size.
You can get them here too: http://www.parts-express.com/visaton...4-ohm--292-528

I hooked up a Tamiya Sherman speaker and was blown away on my bendini but had to remove it because its 4 ohm. Dan says the bendini needs an 8 ohm speaker so I got a regular one and am going to mount it in a project box for a baffle box to give it optimum sound.

You will want to get an amp to go along with the 123 electronics sound cards. Visaton and Aura. are the speakers I prefer to use. I also found a bunch of Compaq desktop computer speakers at a wholesaler and they are good as well.
Just remember always go with the biggest speaker you can fit.

Thanks everyone! And should I go with 8ohm or 4ohm? I'm thinking the 4ohm will be the ticket to get a little more sound and the mono amp I'm looking at will push 4-8ohm drivers. It's only 2.5W though.

Ok, I went ahead and ordered anyways. Got a couple 2.5W Mono Amps with adjustable gain and two Visaton FRS7-4 drivers. I've my sounds working off their triggers as I wanted, only one left to do is the turret rotation.
