I have no idea of when, but it appears as if HL has at least done the prototype work on a M3 tank.. The question I would have is this a 3 D printed prototype done to discover the molding requirements for mass production, or do they now have this one waiting in the pipeline ready to release and is in the production plan. The picture of the M3 is part of the changing banner with zero details. It is just a picture.

Well that's a bummer. Since several of us have started the urethane kits from Hungary.
Im kinda surprised. I wouldn't have thought that the M3 would be all that popular enough to make a production model. I would have preferred they produce one of the other tanks they had in that custom sample line up they showed us last year.
Oh well, I hope it sells really well. IF it doesn't that can hurt future projects.

Yeah... I didn't need to see yet another one I always wanted. LOL
Hope it comes true.

Always the way it happens Rich. Have a scratch or base off a resin kit build going, it will be released as an r/c as soon as you get lower hull/turret functions figured out.

Yup, too many conversions to think of that came to mainstream after months of drink'n and build'n. Not to bum Ludwig out, but maybe someone will
mainstream his british stuff soon. Guess we need more people to bust balls on those builds first.

Is that a Wecohe lower Warren? That is ONE unicorn I'm glad I passed on. Got a buddy that has the Wecohe Panther and it's nice but he had to fight for detail parts till literally the dying end of the company to get them and still has to fab most of the PE parts. Do I spy a Pantiger barrel cleaning stowage as well...he he.

The "Wecohe Panther". What a nightmare for almost ALL involved. I know I bought in (long before the Tamiya Panther was announced) but delays really scared me off... even after buying a second Tamiya Tiger I kit too.
They tried but just made it too complicated when really KISS should have applied.
These early announcements of RTR's only make it worse as they seem to take forever to start production and there's even discussions on the Chally II not being totally available too, so hope the M3 does happen.

Yes we as hobbyists have to remember these prototypes are done up in 3D and market tested to some degree before a commitment for production is made. A one off sample tank is encouraging, but I think some distributers get ahead of themselves and start making coming soon claims a little too early.
If this is a Mato tank then I think we will see the M36B and M10 before we see the M3. Although it sure makes sense as they would be using the same metal hull so there hope this will see the light of day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one day

I think I'm going to side with bossman on this one. HL doesn't keep secrets very well. To get this far in production without a few samples getting leaked or info leaked all across the internet is not like them. Heck remember I got my Chally 2 almost 2 years ago and not even from HL. February will be 2 years actually that I've had it and even the box art was completed then.
