Default Having a problem with barrel recoil on Taigen

I'm not getting any barrel recoil. The tank was a Taigen scratch and dent. Recoil worked originally about 4 out of 10 times. I had been playing with the infrared switch and thought that might be the problem. I took the switch out and a little rewire about 6 months ago. Then disassembled for paint and detail. Now I don't remember the wiring. Everything else works.

I can trouble shoot. But I need to see the original wiring setup on infrared to check myself.

Does anyone have a diagram or good pictures of the connections?

Thank you very much!
The recoil unit is what I was looking for, the blue and white wire location

In normal infrared operation do you get a recoil? Nothing on the Taigen site.

Yes, it should have barrel recoil with the stock set up.

According to the diagram, the turret on/off switch cuts power to the recoil motor.

Found the problem!

Bad recoil motor. Replaced it with one from my parts box.

Glad you got it fixed. I'm about to re-wire an entire asiatam unit like that to use with an Asp. And here I foolishly thought I wouldn't have to open the turret again for a while after I put in the impact apple base. Silly me.
