Great eye candy.
Still hard to believe a Matilda II is going to be available.

I'm not sure, if the original tracks will be available soon (they not been produced either tested...).
I'd recommend to start with the standard kit and switch over to the premium version when available, because the are less parts necessary for the conversion (except tracks).
Please get in contact with Chris directly about further Information.

You're welcome
Oh, I forgot to answer about the hinges: I had some of these in my stock from Asiatam but no more available in plastic; now they're made of metal but I don't know the quality:

When this little gem is offered for sale, will it be a bare naked lady or offered with a choice of paint schemes?
I like the North African desert paint job.

Sorry Rex for disappointing you - this specific prototype won´t be for sale, but Chris will be working to get the production kit ready for sale.
My prototype will be getting a three color paint sheme of the North African Campaign but without the external fuel tank - they never be used there...

Thanks a lot for all your great feedback!
Yesterday the Matilda made it´s first steps outdoor at a playground a little South of Munich:
The gear is running so smooth; I didn´t expect that!

I love how it just glides over the terrain, smooth as can be. Whatever you did to engineer the suspension system, it worked beautifully. On the hardwood floor the tank looked nice driving around, but once out in the wild, it became a real joy to watch.
