Default Electronis plg-n-play opinions

Would like peoples opinion on a complete electronics system (ESC and Multifunctions) that has IR battle capability identical to Tamiya.

I am aware of Bendini, Clark, IBU but uncertain which is a complete system that does not require a computer/software to configure.

The IBU is as close to plug-and-play as you are going to get.

Clark tk22 does not require a pc but does require a Sony remote for programming plus some minor rewiring is required. The thing I like about the Clark boards is that more options for IR battling are available than the other boards. Reload times, number of hits, amount of ammo, armored and soft skinned vehicles, machine guns can cause damage to soft targets, etc.

I think Crius is right..

I've decided to go with the IBU2 board myself.. Mainly because it is pretty much the closest thing you can get to plug and play.. Seems to really be about the best you can get as well.. Has pretty good reviews.. Also, from what I've seen, high quality parts are used in the construction. And should give far better reliability to the end user..

Given the options on the market, from a quality stand point.. Any of the IBU products are highly sufficient. You shouldn't ever need anything else really.. Ian is also a great person to deal with, and very customer oriented.. I cannot recommend him enough..
