Thanks. Did you go with the recommended colors (XF-60, -61, and - 64) or did you use your own mixtures?

I do use XF-60 and XF-64, the green is XF-58. The colors can somewhat vary as they were exposed to the elements and such. even in 1944 some units still painted their tanks, depends on the year and month of the Panther you want to build; if the unit painted it or if it was painted in the factory.

Like the camo scheme, people are always arguing about colours but they change depending upon how the light falls on the tank. For us with armour that moves about it not important to preshade as the light always changes . And to make it an even bigger choice Tamiya have introduced version 2 of the German tri colours.
