Default DeAgostini T-72

Mail just left. Got an opponent for my M60 when it's done.

Nice T-72. Saw your earlier post over on RCTW.

Like the T-34/85, you could have fun with a few of those under the various flags that used them back in the day. Great cannon fodder.

Looks like a DeAgostini? I'd be interested in seeing more of it. Been looking at them for years, but I know as soon as I buy one the Watherson's T-72 will hit the market...

Seems to be equivalent to Heng Long, with some details better. Rubber tires, metal tracks, photoetched engine screens, wire tow cables. I had to bodge up a temporary fix for the gun. Russian post managed to jam the gun, causing the trunnions to break. Have to figure out a permanent repair. Not the shipper's fault, he packed it very well, they somehow managed puncture the box.

It seems like every postal system in the world, regardless what country it is, always manages to mess up RC tanks. On the next full Moon, instead of sacrificing an engineer to appease the Lathe Gods, maybe we'll sacrifice a postal worker.

I always remove the turret to ship. Really prevents the cannon from getting jammed.

This ^^^^
However I have found strange enough Australia has the best shipping out of all the foreign countries I've shipped to. The worst one I've had is a toss-up between Canada and Mexico. Mexico seems to lose the packages way too often and Canada seems to do just fine until it crosses the border

Packages dont get lost in Mexico according to my friend, they just go home with postal employees.

so what brand is that T72?

when are you going to get going on the m60 again?
i busted off my front shock tower the other day, going to post an update tomorrow.

i often remove the barrel or do lots of bracing when i ship a tank in the rare cases when i sell one.havent had one break yet.

T72 is a DeAgostini.

https://www.model-space.com/gb/build...sian-tank.html

It's a subscription build kit.

Tankme is correct.

The M60 will be worked on again soon. In the middle of rearranging the house after setting up for the baby. Workbench is currently buried.
