Default Mato smoke unit?

Hi everyone, I'm working on a Mato M4A3 Sherman and I want to add a smoke system. Will the Taigen / HL units fit to the mato rc card? There looks to be two extra plug ports on the circuit board that look to be the same pattern as the ones on those smoke units and I was wondering if one of those would be for the smoke system? Any help would be appreciated

I believe the Mato tanks come with the Clark tk20 or tk22 so there should be a port for the smoke unit. I'm pretty sure Clark has a diagram that shows the function of all the different ports. I would just take a look at those and find the one that matches my board.

Well I got the smoke system in and plugged it into the ports on the card. Neither were able to get the smoke unit working. I presume I need to program the card or something?

You'll have to check the manual, but I'm pretty sure you can turn the smoke on and off from the transmitter. You might want to check and make sure you have it turned on. Also, maybe check voltage at the port. How many ports are you using? For the older smoke units you only need one, but the newer HL units have a separate lead for the heating element and the piston pump. I think a photo might be a big help here.
