I've been watching one of these on evilbay, trying to figure out if it's worth six hundred bucks, so I'll be watching this one. I'm especially interested in the gearboxes, if they have any plastic gears and if you have to assemble them yourself. Looking forward to the videos.

My oh my that is a blast from the past. I have the 4 1/15 models Bandai released from the 60s to the 70s. Panzer IV F2, StuG IV, Hummel and Tiger I.
Better if Kenny Kong is still making metal tracks and improved suspension components for them. Sadly their gearboxes are a far cry from what most guys are used to so if you plan on running it much upgrade it as much as possible.
Still uncertain what the connection between Bandai and Imai was in the 1960s- I have a Panzer IV that was clearly molded by Imai (their logo is in the floor plate) and some before Imai made their Elefant.
I won't tell you what my kits cost back then...
