ETO Like Gearboxes
So here is a separate thread from the news thread of Bob's passing.
So like you, I have been looking into using gearmotors like the ones used in the ETO gearboxes for quite some time. I need to find my little tachometer thing to measure the speed of the ETO gearboxes.
Back in 2017 I started playing around with a 3D printed motor chassis:

I was going to measure torque performance by winding thread around the drive hub of a stock tank and add weights until it could no longer lift them, and then repeat the test with the new setup, to meet or hopefully exceed stock.
