In case you haven't noticed, there are a few changes to the RC Tanks forum here on RCU. Most probably haven't seen this, but a huge change is the name of the main forum. It used to be "Cars, Trucks, and Buggies". Now the forum has been renamed "RC Cars, Buggies, Trucks, Crawlers, Tanks & More"

Now for the changes within the RC Tanks forums. Including the main forum it's been split up into the following areas:

[ul][*] RC Tanks - This is the main forum room. In here should be discussions on RC Tanks. Basically if the talk is about anything on an RC Tank then it should be placed here in the main forum.[*] War Room - This is where everything else is discussed. War movies, competitions, history, meetings, clubs, and anything else connected with this hobby.[*] RC Gallery - This is a link to the RC Tanks section of the RC Photo Gallery. We've provided this in order to make it easier to find.[*] Tanks for sale - This is a direct link to the Tanks section of the RCU Marketplace. One of the reasons why there was little to no traffic in the marketplace for tanks was because it was difficult to find, we're hoping this link will make it easier to locate.

I've gone through and moved over topics in the last couple of months that need to be in the War Room. I've done this to help seed the new sub-forum to get it off to a good start. And yes, I may have missed some. So please be kind to me here!!!

As I've said throughout this process, this isn't the final version of this forum by any means. This is simply the starting point. As the traffic and popularity of this forum grows we'll expand these sub-forum to meet that grown.

Ken, perhaps its time to step up the regulations aout incitement, and start removing people for a month or more when they pull stupid stuff like that thread seen here:

You weren't inciting anything. Most of the inciters are long gone or have gone quiet. Some of the Tamiya guys are way too sensitive and any discussion about different brands on the same thread gets them upset.

i know, what an oversensitive overeaction...i thought it was a VALID thread to respond to and nothing wrong with a little comparison (JEEZ)!! i wouldn't want to even meet some of these people (scary!)[:'(]

I saw that thread and I did some serious thought about if it should stand or not. But after looking it over I felt that it was a legitimate request for info about what's going on with "brand loyal" members. I didn't see any harm in it so I decided to let it stand. I know that everybody is just a little bit proud of "their brand" and wants to show thier pride occasionally. No harm in that as long as things don't go back to they way they were last summer.

I LIKE TANKS... and since a real one is TOO expensive... RC it is.....

I think this forum is great and it has really enhanced my experience with my tanks.. whatever the make!....
