Default S+S V Standard transmitters Question please

Hi

Can we use the standard controller on S+S Tanks??

We have only one standard controller working at the moment but we wish to drive the S+S pershing. Ive tried operating on all 3 (ABC) settings and nothing?

Does it need a tweak?

Thanks in advance

PS

Anyone know what happend to my last post ref' Bovington, seems to have been deleted or something.

Well the standard as you know is switchable, the S+S is single frequecncy, it uses pluggable crystals.

In addition to my question so rather than write another thread. ...............

What is the different between black and white capped motors? also, are there any better quality motors one can buy that retrofit into the HL tanks? Finally, whats the best battery one can use? I just got an 1800 and it makes the tank run better than stock battery, but ive seen them up to 4000, are these going ot make a worthwhile difference?

Thanks

The non SS controller doesn't work on SS tanks.

The bigger the battery the better (I'm using a 3700). The SS tanks drain more power then the non SS tanks and the bigger the battery the longer your tank will run.

Black capped motors are the standard ones fitted at the factory. White cap ones run much slower.
