I won this last week..it's shipping today!

It can't be a HL tank..it has the correct amount of road wheels (7) but this picture shows a battery pack!?

I thought the Tokyo Mauri used AA batteries?

and this tank has a airsoft gun..which points to the TM and HL

confused yet....now the wait is on before I find out if I got a HL or Mauri tank.

I think it's HL because it says it's 3 channel wereas the Mauri uses 6 different crystals.

But the picture shows an Abrams yet the description is for a Type 90

I think you got that wrong..

3 speeds forward... HL only has 2 forward
6 tanks can battle--crystals can be changed....which would not be a HL since I own the Type 90 tank..

I called and talked to the guy who sold me the tank, he said " it does have 7 road wheels...it is an Abrams..the picture you see is the tank.."



I will find out soon enough..

Looks like they are showing a marui BUT if you read what they typed at the bottom it is actually a type 90 tank they are selling so it's most likly the cheapo hen long versin!

i agree , on the pics it is a marui ,
but it does looks suspicious[sm=72_72.gif] because marui needs 8 individual aa batteries and on the pic. it is a yellow plastic shrink(typical of h.l.)

like shenloco ; i do not believe that marui produce type 90= h. l.

ask the seller how many roadwheels ,7 for marui ,6 for h.l.

anyway , if it is a marui ,you`ve got a deal,
usually they go for :50-55$ used

Seller also said the Type 90 was from an old sell...this tank is the Abrams..he never changed that part of the add..(idiot)
VS imported some Abrams a few years ago that fired BBs..they are Toyko Mauri that VS imported...

If this is the case..I have an older tank but kinda rare? And YES the battery pack threw me there as well..except the VS/Mauri used this setup

OK 1 week later I have answers to this "Mystery Tank" in question..

Pictures say almost everything.

in the pictures you notice the controllers are different... the Abrams does have 3 speeds which makes it cool to watch since the supension makes it bounce up and down and the the different speeds are nice! the real kicker was the gun firing and hitting my shed in the backyard...roughly 30 feet.. ok it hit the shed and came back and hit my house!
60 feet there!!!! from what I can see.. No dragon on the bottom..but it does have a battery pack which I found strange...outside of that the finish is ok..a few spots were slightly streaked like the brush dragged but easy to fix.. So is this the Toys east version of the Marui tank or what?

well to me it looks like a very crappy painted marui tank..... is there a square cover on the bottom of the tank?
Could you get a pic of the bottom of the tank for us?

Thing is it must have different electronics than a marui if it uses a battery pack because marui jumps wires across the AA's for different voltages to work the speeds of the tanks??

I also noticed that the rubber flaps on the front fenders they did not put on like the marui abrams has...

Those were missing in the box....this box has been opened in the past so I am thinking the idiot lost the flaps!!!

It's ok I can make replacements..

it looks like a mauri or enlsion re painted and a different battery setup heres a picture of mine. box has NO english on it.repainted and added home made parts

It's a marui/vs modified to take a battery pack probably back before rechargable nimh AAs were plentiful. And somebody spilled some paint on it.

I seen where I can get heavy plastic tracks for these tanks....I might stop and think about this one for a while...

what is interchangable with this tank and say a HL or VS tank?

this tank seems to track towards the right but the fast it does the less it pulls to the right...but it still pulls..does anybody know why this happens?

The track tension seems the same on both sides...could it be that maybe a motor weaker/tighter than the other?
