Default Broken gear in new Abrams tank..

Well tonight I found the problem with my tank pulling to one side, it was the main drive gear on the right hand side of the tank!
I opened up the tank and check what the heck was causing the binding on the drive shaft, well I found it after a few minutes and I was mad as heck!

This is the tank I just won off Ebay that looks like a Mauri/Epsilon tank...the gearbox on this unit was on it's way out to be toast and I am sure that's why it's owner sold it for the price he did, on a good note is that it appears the HL gearbox for their Abrams is made the same as this one, except some of the internals are made slightly different but not big difference
and the main drive gear is the very one I need!!!! So I need to find somebody with an old gearbox or I need to buy a new one from Mato Toys.

Can anybody help me out with finding a good parts source?

I just checked out that site...they don't sell the Abrams rear engine but the Leopard rear engine setup..

Are the gearboxes the same between the two tanks... $10 dollars is not bad..

Email them. I bet they do have it, because they have the turret motor mislabled as "tank motor". I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that they mistakenly think they allready have the abrams powerplant listed on the website.

I just wonder if the Leopard's gearbox is the same unit...

I emailed them..how long do they take, I would love to get this tank fully running before the end of the year..right now it's runable but you have to correct it about every 4 seconds..which my HL Type 90 will run a straight line for yards!

OK after email both VStank and Toyeast.com, I got a response back and NOW toyeast has the Abrams gearbox on the website now.. $5 more dollars than the Leopard which suprises me but Hey..if you need it, you need it right?

Also ordered the link tracks for the Abrams , has anybody tried these yet or will I be the first?
