Default Recoil Unit - Tamiya Tiger

After much messing I've managed to snap one of the rods which the recoil unit runs on. Does anyone know where I can get one from or a whole new unit? (Preferably UK?)

I have done the same thing to mine a couple of months ago. I had to purchase a new unit unfortunately. I learned that tighter is not always better!

Where did you get the unit from?

I had to order it from Tamiya. I had called their toll free number and placed my order. You can go to www.tamiya.com and select 'Europe.' There should be a number for you to call. I don't know how Europe's customer service is, but the USA customer service was excellent. I had ordered the recoil unit, gun elevation unit and extra tracks and they did not charge me for shipping. I had ordered extra stuff because I know that I would need them at a later date. Hope this helps.

Not a problem. If you have some time you could check e-bay and see if anyone is selling the unit. It's a bit more of a hassle, but some times it pays off. Take care.
