Hi All,Just received a pair of metal hatches for the hull of my hl tiger and was hoping someone who has done the conversion could post post some photo's of the hinges they have fabricated for them and how they attached them.

Hi Stevieg

They are not too difficult to do. I started with a dremel and ground of the original hatch but you could just make lots of holes round the hatch and then cut throught them and sand down the rough edges. Some folk also use thread to cut along the edge. Once you have the plastic hatch out and a nice neat hole the metal one just attaches beneath the deck where there are two little pins ready to accept it.

Thanks for the photo's and tip's,It loks like i must have purchased the bargain metal hatches as they have no hinge arm attached to them as yours has,can these be obtained separately?

Dont know about in the uk stevieg but if you look at Stern's KT build
on the second page he has posted a link to where he got his hatches from
and they sell them ....
