Default ESC for 1/16 HL Tanks

Hi Everyone,
First off I would like to wish you all a very happy New Year, and may your Tank Battles be bigger and better for you all! This is my first post on RC Universe,so the subject I am going to bring up now has probably without doubt been discussed before. Here in the UK I seem to be coming up against a brick wall when it comes to obtaining an ESC for the HL Tanks as well as any hints and tips for installation. I want to use a Futaba 40mhz 4Ch Radio for the tank but keep coming up against this problem of an ESC.
If anyone can help me with a brand and/or installation help I would be very greatful.
Thanks for your help Guy's.

hi

there are a few places that you can get suitable controllers from:

barello and scorpon, http://www.robotmarketplace.com/mark...ntrollers.html

clark system (due april 07) http://www.freewebtown.com/jyliang/eng/index_e.html with battle system

sabertooth 2X10 r/c http://www.dimensionengineering.com/

elmod http://www.el-mod.de/

i hope these links help, i would recommend the scorpion controller or the sabertooth.
(im waiting for the clark system to be released as it looks great).

also i would recommend replaceing the stock motors with speed 400 ones, you can get good ones from here; http://www.overlander.co.uk/categori...cid=51&scid=66
