Hi all
I have a h/l pershing that was all fine and working until i did some work on the airsoft unit.
the prob is that all functions on the tank work but the sound has stoped. i changed the speaker but this did not fix the prob.
the only sound i get is a squeek sound when you turn the tank left or right.
the funny thing is the bottom of the tank was not touched in any way and no wires in the turret were messed with.
any ideas?????

Nothing happens when you rotate the volume knob? With the tank opened up check the 3 wires that go from the board to the volume control, make sure they are all attached securely to the board. What happens when you pop in your spare board? You do have a spare don't you?

board is still not working although all wireing is correct and all intact.
there is no visible faults on the board and i can say it is not the speaker as i have changed this,dont forget this tank was all ok and everything including sound worked fine BEFORE i opened the tank to work on the top half.

Is it possible you have the smoker and speaker plugged in wrong by mistake? I've had different parts of my circuit boards fail, everything will work fine except the turret rotation on one, the motors on another, the reverse motor for the left track on another, etc. It's annoying but now I keep a couple of spares on hand.
