Default Progress on my T34

Hi all.
Finally did something with my T34.
I was never happy with the on off control and using AA size batteries.
Now it has proportional throttle and 7.2volt nicads.
The steering is with micro switches which cut power to the inside track when turning. Not really ideal but it works better than original.
Having the proportional throttle makes quite a difference in control and realism when in motion.
Also fitted a switch and charging point that can be accessed through the drivers hatch.A red LED is next to the switch so I know when it's switched on.Just have to plug it in to my nicad charger to charge it now.

Here's a picture of how it looks internaly at the moment.

Still need to install turret and gun controls yet.I have a small speed controller for the turret turn.Still undecided what to do with the gun yet.

Cheers.

Two would be a lot better.Proportional steering too.
Did you use two sticks on the controller or have you used some kind of mixer?

Cheers.

There are two good ESC in the states that can handle 2 motors: Sabertooth 2X5 and 2X10 R/C.

I'm using the Sabertooth 2X10 R/C and Spektrum BR6000 bot receiver in my T-34 with great success, but the 2X5 would also do the job. Hooking up the motors was trivial. I kept the AA batteries because I wanted 9.6V to the motors for extra torque.
