Default 1/16 size reference

Hi, i'm new to the forum and a new tanker...my m41a3 is on it's way from matotoys. I was wondering if someone had a pic they could post of their 1/16 tank with a common item, for instance a soda can, so I can see about how big they are. I'm very excited to get the bulldog and look forward to paintin' her up.

Thanks a bunch, a wealth of information available on here. I've been using the "search" for the past couple days taking in knowledge.

My Tiger is 53cm long 23cm wide.

The only pic I've got for comparison is with a GW Warhammer 40k tank.

Wow that's a bit bigger than I expected...which is good. I have been playing around with 1/28 scale mini-z's and think i'm getting hooked on tanks now.

One other question. Do the tools/accessories on the tanks come off to be painted or does it have to be done while on the tank.

Great pics, exactly what I was looking for.

Not THAT big: this is a pic next to a horse from Poland who was thinking about avenging his grandpa's charge against the panzers in '39

Some tools are molded, while others can be removed usually

You should have told him that was a 2-liter bottle. Might've scared the bejeebers out of him.
