Default Bearings

I seem to remember when searching for threads on modifiying the HL tiger I saw something about fitting ball races/bearings behind the drive sprockets into the lower hull to remove the play in the shafts.

Has any one one got the dimensions of the bearings?

Are they standard buggy type bearings?

8-9mm ID, 14-17mm OD, 5mm thick. Measure your shaft diameter first, I have a pile of bearings because of innacurate advice.

8-9mm OD???
All Heng Long gearboxes shafts have an outer diameter of 8 mm. Don't buy 9 mm inner dia. BBs, maybe HL OD is some 1/100 mm in excess, I've measured some of them at 8.07 and 8.08mm OD, but never 9mm.
