Hi tsc,

Sorry to hear about your board. You do not have to replace the tank because you can buy replacement parts (boards, transmitters, tracks etc) from a Canadian company at www.matotoys.com . Check out their site and order what you need (always a good idea to bulk buy some boards) and it works out cheaper than replacing the tank.

I must add that I have been extremely lucky so far and have never had a board failure. This is pretty amazing considering I have 10 Henk Long tanks and I run them pretty hard outdoors.

Best of luck.

Cheers Mario

try to avoid "stalling" the drive motors etc. also avoid sharp turns on carpet etc where the tracks catch the carpet and pull. it is very hard on the motors.

you might want to also consider the transmitter. I've had a few flaky switches on mine. Most likely your main board though.

One of my tanks blew the transistor that operates the turret once. To replace it would cost nearly as much as a new board. If you like the hobby, buy a bunch of spare boards.
