thanks fv432 ok im haveing a slight problem with my electronics after the refit......to go forward u have to now pull bk on the stick. and to go bkwards you have to push forwards on the stick??????????? hmm weird ive tried changeing the motor wires every way possible and still the same. this seems to be the way all the turns work in. if you change them round all you get is left and right turns not forwards or bkwards. not sure what it can be????? ive removed the smoke unit and unpluged from curcit boards ectect not sure what else it can be hmm [:@] any ideas appreciated thanks [>:]

does yours have plugs or did you have to solder the wires? did you have the motors out of their gearboxes?

need some help with my electronics. i had all boards out and since the refiting of all electronics there seems to be a problem with the direction signals because when i push forwards on the stick it will go backwards and if im to push backwards it will travel forwards. [sm=confused_smile.gif] i have taken out the connection for the rear lights from the board as thay are not in use and ive also removed the smoke unit. ive tried 2 difrent transmitters and its still the same and ive also tried changeing the motor wires everyway possible but still no luck. [sm=angry.gif] if anyone knows what this maybe? or has any suggestions then please fire away? [sm=idea.gif] also is it possible to fit tam electronics into a henglong? if so any info on this would be a help please

thanks for reading

so what happens when you red/black to black/red ?

Did you unsolder the wires from the board previously, or is it just a cut 'n' connector job?

No all it does is reverse the polarity to the motors (so instead of spinning one way they spin the other). You didnt take the motors out of the gearboxes did you (and put them back in the opposite gearboxes)?

ok here it is

I've done same as you mate with them choccy blocks but i have a word of warning about them. The top turret wires (that insulated thick one) might snag on them and cause the turret to loose left to right action. My tank did this so i had to re-locate the wires in a better place and cover them up with a board.

I see that the TK-14 board is back in production, which should be great from a power handling point of view (no more cooked boards) as long as it's reliable.

All of my S&S boards are RX14's, so yeah, I haven't experienced the goings on with the RX-13, only the non-S&S TK-01
