hey im new here and to rc tanks
i just got a hen long tiger 1 tank for christmas and it works fine but when i use the gun, it just makes some noise then it stops. If i keep shooting it continues to do this until all the pellets i put into the turret come out in one go, getting stuck in the muzzle. So i tried to just shoot one, but that didn't work either, and if continue shooting it will eventually pop out the end and get stuck in the muzzle. Now, these are the bb bullets that came with the tank, so they should fit the barrel. I got no idea how to fix it, although i think it may be happening because the whole barrel itself can move side to side, and the right side of it can come out far enough to see the loading mechenism. im thinking of taking it to the local hobby store but they reckon it will cost $75 to fix, and considering the tank only cost $130, im not willing to do that.
other than that it is a great tank, ive chased many a stray cat thats come to investigate it.

well, this afternoon, the gun worked perfect, for 1 shot, then it didn't work again. So i don't think it could be a blockage because it will shoot perfectly fine every now and again. ill try to get pics soon, maybe tommorow. about the gun upgrade, it is virtually impossible to get anything like that in australia (stupid laws). i was lucky to get the tank with a gun that should work, as most of the time, the guns are disabled permanetly.

make sure the silicon is safe for plastics and rubber or it will wreak hell on the hop up
perhaps the hop up is causing the BBs to jam up in the barrel

well i tried the silicon lube, i put a bb in the turret, shot it at the wall, and it worked great, its just when i put more than 1 bb in the turret, thats when i have troubles.
i just had little look inside the turret, and there are two pieces that keep barrel in line with the firing system, and they are both broken, which is leading to the barrel being able to side to side a fair bit, which could be putting the firing system out of line causing the bbs to get stuck, now just a matter of fixing it....
