Default SNFF 12-30

The last one of 2007.

Show everybody what you have been doing the past week with respect to tanking. This thread is supposed to be fun and inspiring for others. I had the whole week off from work so I was able to do some modeling. You have seen my Sherman, and my Tiger in the snow, but this thread is supposed to be a showcase where everyone can post what they are working on. So if you are half way through something are just starting, show us what you got!!!!

I just started putting a heng long transmission in my T-34. The 1/24 gearbox experience failed. THe T-34 was completely gutted and an aluminum floor installed. Gear towers are fitted and being run in as I type this.

Pictures of stuff I did this past week.

Relocated my Tiger I speaker to the opposite side of the hull so it won't interfere with the properly placed antenna. Now I'm working on my last HL based Super Gun. I built the gun, cleaned and lubed the internals, put in new springs, breech and bushing and am fitting the 6.04mm airsoft barrel now. Then will break out the Crony and test. Hopefully tomorrow she'll get some RAL 8020 and 7027 paint!

See my Tiger build for the history of the build.

jakeand. There's a lot of electronics in that tiger. What are the upgrades and what does the micro-switch on the rear panel do ?.
It's looking good to me and that idler gear mod looks strong.

@Wacky & gigant

Yes El-Mod is correct. Graupner MC14 and El-Mod Prop (connect El-Mod to Graupner receiver), Booster (motors), Tls (turret, light, shoot) and Blaster2 (sound)

Switch is for mains on/off/ and charging, actuated by a piano wire (not seen) not very practical, maybe I relocate it later.

Yes the idler is quite strong, maybe too strong putting the stress to next weak point, gearboxes and then to hull and then to…..well, time will tell.

Hi Blitz!

I am glad to hear that your tank is on the move!

If you go Prop, check with El-Mod, if there are any issues with Spectrum radios, they have list on Panzerketten forum, I used Babelfish to translate it, so its could sound a little bit funny.

"The question arises again and again, to which proportional radio ElMod is compatible. It applies: as long as a standard servo at the radio functioned SHOULD get along also ElMod with it!

These radios are examined and function problem-free: all FM radios of Graupner, Futaba, seal, multiplex (transmitter and receiver) receiver of ACT and Webra

These radios do not function or reduced: all Jamara (only with special software) Modellcraft/Sanwa H4/H8 (inaccurate potentiometers cause servo/engine twitching) receiver of Acoms (very trouble-prone)"

Regards Jake

Thanks Jake, Great info I will save it! Well JK is doing some research on the Spectrums compatibility, so we will see, I may just have to go with a Futaba!?
