Hi Weapon,
You can go about it a couple of ways. As wackywheelz posted, you can you El-mod modules (http://www.el-mod.de) which is what I did with my T-34. You can also use a 4-6 channel radio without the El-mod modules. If your TX has a mixing fuction (ex. V-Tail, flaperon), you can use that to control the two motors for steering. If your TX doesn't have a mixing function, you can use a V-Tail mixer. You can get one at Duck's Hobby at the Makati Cinema Square. You can then use the other channels for turret rotation, gun elevation, cannon, and machine gun by using switches and/or converting regular servos to continuous rotation ones. If you go this route, you will lose the sound effects. It's possible to still get sound by using using a Sound Generator (http://www.westbourne-models.com/erol.html#4704X0). Haven't tried it myself though.
Where do you buy your HL Tanks, btw?

thedonut: Yup! The radio I got has mixing capabilities (Futaba FF7) still trying to figure it out though.... RC noob.... hehehe
I buy my HL tanks whenever I see one... Got my Pershing at Tiendesitas, got my Tiger 1 during the moving out sale of a store in St. Francis square.... As for the sound, I can live without it... I just don't like the stock controller is mapped out (especially the turret elevation and cannon firing)... Thanks for referring the other components.. I was just at Duck RC the other day... consulting on what can be done...
One more question: Where did you buy/order the El-mod components? how much did it set you back?

Yes, using an ESC is possible or even this (http://www.dimensionengineering.com/PicoSwitch.htm) -- it will cost extra however. What I meant by using a continuous servo (http://www.acroname.com/robotics/inf...ontinuous.html) was replacing the turret rotation mechanism with the servo. Remove the final gear of the turret rotation mechanism and connect it to the output shaft of the modified servo. For gun elevation, just use a control rod from the gun to the arm of the servo controlled by your (ratcheted) throttle stick.

Whats wrong with the stock elev/fire setup?!
Whats wrong with the stock elev/fire setup?!
Nothing actually.... It's just a preference that when I push the left stick up, I want the turret to move up
... with the stock setup, I find it a bit too long just to cycle the turret movement up...
