Default EL MOD sound Blaster question

I was wondering about adding the El mod sound blaster to my stug, but don't really need a TLS since there is no turret. Will the Sound blaster work with just the Booster??????

Blitz or anyone else know???

YHR,

Yes the Blaster will work with just the booster, but the engine startup I think goes to a default startup sequence .

In otherwords it will start when you powerup the tank, and you my not be able to do a engine shutdown from the radio.

Everthing else will work as it should, the TLS does handle the gun fire, gun movement, turret movement and engine start/stop, and lights.

Requirements

A ThinkTank Booster is necessary, ThinkTank TLS is strongly recommended as otherwise there will be no sounds for the turret functions.

HAs anyone tried the Booster set up with a DBC????

Ideally in my Stug I want a DBC with sound, and Blaster for the engine sound, and was wondering how these would work together. OR perhaps it would be simpliest to go with an all El MOD set up for this one tank.???

I am curious though if there is any compatibility between the DBC and the EL Mod.

Hi,

Yep, i can confirm wath Bullyhys said, just tested it.

But you could rename the soundfiles for gun and mg to "user1" and "user2" then you could use channel 5 or 6 to trig them
EDIT. Sorry, forgot to mention, this is not possible if you use HL radio

Regards

Jake
