Default RC Command

As some of you are already aware, I will be taking what we began as RC Scale Model and evolving into RC Command. We will still strive to bring you the newest and most innovative products and continue to listen to your suggestions (keep them coming) to make our company better. We will be bringing new products to you over the next several weeks, in addition to developing new business relationships with current manufacturers/distributors of products currently available in the marketplace. We see some exciting times and products in the very near future of r/c tanks and hope we can share them with you. If you’re in the market for something that we don’t have listed on our site, take a minute to drop us an email or pm – we could have what you’re looking for but just haven’t had the time to add it to our site. Shortly, RC Scale Model traffic will be redirected to the new site. Or, you can go there directly and save us in your favorites now – [link=http://www.rccommand.com]www.rccommand.com[/link]

Thanks,

Bill

Thanks, Blitz. Looking forward to getting the Stug III's coming your way, too, so we'll see what you can do with it.

Nice website Bill. [sm=thumbs_up.gif] Remember to keep me on that list for a metal gearbox equipped Stug III.

Thanks very much. Somebody please tell me there will be light at the end of the tunnel[]. Heck, if all goes as planned, we won't see the light for some time. Will let you know as soon as I get them in - you're on top of the list.

By the way, the Sherman is now confirmed as being in the design phase. Before anyone asks, I don't have any information yet. Probably still several months away. I'm just glad it's gonna be available.

Nice website...are you going to be an Impact dealer?

Would also love to see a US dealer for the German upgrade parts (AsiaTam, Imperial, Schumo Kits, etc).

Hey Bill, do you have items drop shipped to customers? It seems more efficient to ship from china to the customer, than to you and then re-ship to the customer.

Hey Philip,

Thanks very much. Yes, we are now an IMPACT dealer but will be just starting out with the P3 parts for now. There are ongoing discussions so this can change at any moment. If you need something other than the P3 parts, just drop me an email and I'll see what I can do.

I don't think we'll be doing Schumo as ETOArmor is taking care of the US market for them and AsiaTam & Imperial are still on the agenda. We certainly want to be loyal to our vendors as we expect them to be to us, but if there's a way to bring them all in without ruffling feathers of the other, I think we'll all be better off - from the maufacturers to the distributors to us and then obviously, to our customers.

Thanks again,
Bill

It would be great to have a one stop shop with aftermarket resin kits to change the appearance of their tanks ... old or new. But baby steps at first. Just a thought.

Typically, no. Especially on the tank scene. It doesn't serve well just ordering a few items at a time due to the shipping rates from overseas. For example, if one were to order one tank from China, it would cost around $50 to ship it to the US. We can order in much larger quantities and bring that down, considerably, which then makes them more affordable for everyone. When it comes to things of more size like our battleships, etc., then we can make those arrangements. Hope this helps.

Wunderbar!

This is great news.

But, press them, press Heng Long to steer well clear of anything with HVSS. We want VVSS (Vertical Volute Spring Suspension)! My vote is for an M4A1, late production.

Yeah, but the welded hull (M4 and M4A3) had more variants.

Yeah this is where it got tricky between Willy and ETO stepping on eachothers toes. good luck with buisiness. We always need good suppliers of parts.

Bill,

Sounds cool! I look forward to seeing your site grow.

From Impact, I would press them to re-energize their plans to make upgrades for the Walker Bulldog. They put the plans for the sprocket and tracks (with rubber pads) on hold.

I, for one, would vote to have HL build two variants of the Sherman - both the HVSS and the VVSS. Maybe one is the M4 105 VVSS (I like the Pacific Theater ones ) and the other is the M4A3 HVSS that saw extensive use in Korea. Think they could put dozer blade on the latter? Anyhow, seeing as so many have waiting to get a Sherman for lack of funds for a Tamiya, it seems that HL would do well to create both suspension and turret types, like they've done with two PzIV variants.

RC command,

just one question:

for the SturmgeschĂĽtz III Ausf.G, this comes with a battle system? is this battle system compatible with the Tamiya battle system, and the EGS ?

Now that I have knocked myself out doing this, Heng Long will be bringing out a VVSS Sherman any day now!
