Default How Much is IT!

I'm seriously looking to buy a 1/8 or 1/6 th scale tank. But here's the rub . I read post after post about people saying that if you buy one of these tanks there $3,000.00 and up. well I've checked around and it seems that they are starting more like $5,000.00 and up. or do you tanker people know were these $3,000.00 tanks are. you in put would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Go here: http://greatmodels.com/

Then click on the "Battle Ready Armor" icon on the left hand side of the website.

Battle Ready Armor's tanks are about as un-battle ready as they come. They are not a full kit, they are basically static (I dont even think they have suspension). They were, last time I heard, thinking about offering an RC conversion set to go with their tanks, but I havent seen it yet. It's basically a pre-cut metal kit you put together with rivets, no motors or electronics, just flat panels.

Not all that great and also not that cheap either. Anything over $200 on a retired buget is not cheap. [&o] Wacky seems to have the lo-down on these.

The 8th scale you may get for the 3K range, the 6th scale more the 5K range.

Alex's tanks (via Mark-1-tanks) start low 3K for the 8th scale and go up from there for 6th scale.
