Quick question, are the Heng Long transmitters all the same reguardless if the tank does or does not have smoke/sound ?

Hey Dave,

Different transmitters, because the boards are different and the crystals are mounted in the board with a 3 selector switch, so 3 frequencies max with those units!

That makes the non S&S not such a good deal if you have to buy a new transmitter also. I'll keep looking for a Pershing to up grade
